Terms of Use

'Midline Plastic Surgery Clinic' (hereinafter referred to as the "Clinic") places great importance on the personal information of its users and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and the "Personal Information Protection Regulations" enacted by the Korea Communications Commission, as well as other relevant laws regarding personal information, such as the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc." Furthermore, the Clinic has established a Privacy Policy in accordance with relevant laws and is committed to protecting the rights and interests of users. Through this Privacy Policy, the Clinic informs users of the purposes and methods for which personal information provided by users is utilized, and the methods by which it is managed to ensure its protection.

In addition, the Hospital respects the rights and interests of data subjects, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of personal information held in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and data subjects may file an administrative appeal in accordance with the Administrative Appeals Act regarding any infringement of such legal rights and interests.

This policy is effective from April 1, 2021.

Chapter 1: General Provisions

■ Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Midline Plastic Surgery and the user regarding the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Midline Plastic Surgery, as well as other necessary matters.

■ Article 2 Validity and Modification of Terms and Conditions
(1) These terms and conditions become effective upon being disclosed to users.
(2) Midline Plastic Surgery may change the Terms and Conditions in the event of a change in circumstances or for important business reasons, and the changed Terms and Conditions shall take effect in the same manner as the preceding paragraph.

■ Article 3 (Rules other than the Terms and Conditions)
If matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions are stipulated in relevant laws and regulations, such stipulations shall apply.

Chapter 2 Membership Registration and Service Use

■ Article 1 Definition of Member
A Member refers to a general individual recognized by Midline Plastic Surgery as eligible for membership who agrees to these Terms and Conditions, completes the service membership registration form, and is issued an 'ID' and 'Password'.

■ Article 2 (Establishment of Service Subscription)
(1) Service subscription is established by Midline Plastic Surgery’s approval of the user’s application for use and the user’s agreement to the terms and conditions.
(2) Those who wish to use the service by registering as a member must provide the personal information requested by Midline Plastic Surgery.
(3) When Midline Plastic Surgery approves a user's application for membership, Midline Plastic Surgery will notify the user of their member ID and other information deemed necessary by Midline Plastic Surgery.
(4) The ID entered upon registration cannot be changed, and only one ID is issued to each person.

(5) Midline Plastic Surgery does not approve applications for membership that fall under any of the following items.

A. When applying using another person's name
B. When you did not apply under your real name
D. When the information in the application form is false.
When the application is made for the purpose of disturbing the peace and order of society or public morals.

■ Article 3 (Use and Restriction of Service)
(1) In principle, the service is available 24 hours a day, 1 days a year, unless there are special business or technical issues.
(2) The service usage time mentioned in the preceding paragraph may be restricted after prior notice to the member if necessary for Midline Plastic Surgery, such as for regular system maintenance.
(3) Among the services, online consultation may not be available 24 hours a day depending on the personal circumstances of the specialist doctor responding.

■ Article 4 (Service Fees)
(1) The service is available free of charge to all registered members.
(2) If Midline Plastic Surgery decides to charge for its services, it must announce the timing, policy, and cost of the paid services on the service prior to implementation.

Chapter 3 Service Withdrawal, Re-enrollment, and Restrictions on Use

■ Article 1 Withdrawal from Service
(1) If a member wishes to withdraw from the service, the member must personally request cancellation from the operator via e-mail.
(2) When requesting withdrawal, if you provide your name, ID, phone number, and reason for cancellation so that we can verify your identity, we will cancel your membership after confirming that it matches your membership record.
(3) If you cannot log in with your existing ID and password, your membership has been cancelled.

■ Article 2 Re-subscription to Service
(1) If a user who has withdrawn from the service pursuant to Article 1 wishes to re-register, the user may request re-registration directly to the operator via e-mail.
(2) When requesting re-registration, please provide your name, ID, and phone number to verify your identity and your re-registration will be processed.
(3) If you log in with your existing ID and password, you have successfully re-registered.

■ Article 3 Restrictions on Service Use
Midline Plastic Surgery may terminate the service agreement without prior notice or suspend the use of the service for a specified period if a member engages in any of the following acts.

a. In cases where it violates public order and morals
B. In case of involvement in criminal activity
D. If you plan or execute the use of the service for the purpose of harming national interests or public interests.
A. If you steal someone else's ID and password
B. In case of damaging or causing disadvantage to another person's reputation
B. If the same user registers twice with different IDs.
4. In case of hindering sound use of the service, such as causing harm to the service.
A. In cases that violate other relevant laws or the terms of use established by Midline Plastic Surgery

Chapter 4 Limitation of Liability Regarding Services

■ Article 1 Online Consultation
(1) Midline Plastic Surgery strives to maintain security to the best of its ability so that the consultation content of members or users of the service is not leaked to third parties other than the consulting doctor and service administrator.

However, Midline Plastic Surgery is not responsible for the disclosure or loss of consultation details in the following cases.

A. If the password is leaked due to the user's negligence and the consultation contents are disclosed.
B. If the user deletes the consultation using the 'Delete' function
C. In the event that consultation details are disclosed or lost due to natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the control of Midline Plastic Surgery

(2) In order to provide a comprehensive and appropriate response to the consultation requested by the member, the attending physician and specialist doctors of each department may refer to the consultation contents and responses.
(3) The content of consultations conducted through the service may be used for the following purposes after deleting personal information.

A. Academic activities
B. Copyright activities such as printed materials and CD-ROMs
Some of the service contents such as FAQ, recommendation consultation, etc.

(4) The answers to the consultations are subjective responses based on the medical knowledge of each specialist and do not represent the service opinions of Midline Plastic Surgery.
(5) In the case of requesting consultation as follows, all or part of the online consultation may not be provided.

A. If you repeatedly apply for consultation with the same content
B. If you request a consultation using expressions that go against common sense

D. If you request a consultation requesting a diagnosis
A. When requesting consultation regarding treatment costs, examination costs, medicine prices, etc.

■ Article 2 Information Services
(1) The content provided by the Service is general and introductory in nature and is intended for informational purposes only. The information or consultation provided by the Service can never replace a medical diagnosis. The information or consultation provided by the Service is never intended to replace a medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or therapy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your health condition, you must consult a medical specialist for a diagnosis. Under no circumstances should you disregard a doctor's diagnosis or delay receiving a diagnosis, medical treatment, or therapy due to the information provided by the Service.
(2) Midline Plastic Surgery does not recommend any specific tests, products, or treatments mentioned in the service. All opinions expressed in the service are those of the consulting physician. Midline Plastic Surgery assumes no responsibility for any documents or consultation content provided in the service.
(3) Accepting the information of this service, the opinions of medical specialists participating in the service, or the opinions of other members or visitors using the service is entirely at the user's discretion. Therefore, Midline Plastic Surgery shall not be liable for any damage, injury, or other disadvantage arising from the use of any product, information, ideas, or instructions provided to the member.

Chapter 5 Obligations

■ Article 1 (Obligations of the Company)
(1) Midline Plastic Surgery allows members to use the service unless there are special circumstances.
(2) Midline Plastic Surgery Clinic has an obligation to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
(3) Midline Plastic Surgery shall process opinions raised by members through prescribed procedures, and if processing takes a certain period of time, it shall notify the member of the reason and the processing schedule.

■ Article 2 (Duty to Protect Member Information)
(1) Members are responsible for managing their ID and password.
(2) Members agree to receive service e-mails sent as part of the service.
(3) If your ID is used fraudulently, the member must notify Midline Plastic Surgery.
(4) Midline Plastic Surgery does not sell or provide information that can identify an individual to third parties unrelated to Midline Plastic Surgery without the prior permission of the member or user. However, Midline Plastic Surgery may use voluntarily provided registered information in the following cases:

a. When providing developers with information necessary for developing new features, information, and services useful to members.
b. When providing advertisers with statistical information (which never reveals the identity of individual members) about service members and user groups.
When used by the company to provide advertisements or services based on member and user preferences.

(5) Information that can identify an individual (such as username, ID, email address, etc.) may be voluntarily disclosed in communication spaces such as bulletin boards (hereinafter referred to as "communication spaces"). In such cases, the disclosed information may be collected, associated with, or used by third parties, and you may receive unwanted messages from third parties. Midline Plastic Surgery cannot control such actions by third parties. Therefore, Midline Plastic Surgery makes no guarantees regarding the possibility of member information being discovered through methods beyond Midline Plastic Surgery's control.
(6) Midline Plastic Surgery may use Cookie technology for the convenience of using the service. A cookie is a small text file used by a website to identify returning users and to help facilitate their continued access and provide personalized services. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that is meaningless outside the site that issued the cookie. Cookies do not intrude into the user's system and are not dangerous to the user's files. Midline Plastic Surgery cannot prevent advertisers of the service or related third parties from using cookies. If a member or user does not wish for information to be collected using cookies, they can adjust whether to accept cookies in their web browser. However, the use of cookies may be necessary for the service (especially personalized information) to function properly.
(7) Midline Plastic Surgery may mutually provide and utilize member information between the service or the company and business partners.

Chapter 6 Dispute Resolution

(1) Except as otherwise provided in these Terms of Use, any disputes regarding issues related to the use of the service shall be resolved as much as possible through mutual agreement.
(2) In the event of a lawsuit arising from the use of the service, the court with jurisdiction over the location of the company shall be the court of jurisdiction.
